BackOn February 20–21, 2024, the Department of Education – Tarlac City Schools Division launched the first phase of the 2024 School Heads INSET Program at Tarlac City Hall, designed to enhance the leadership proficiency of school heads across the division.
The program was facilitated by Asst. Prof. Jazzel Llaneli M. Manabat from the Department of Communication, College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS–Comm Dept), Tarlac State University, who served as the resource speaker. Her sessions focused on equipping school leaders with essential knowledge and skills to effectively navigate the evolving educational landscape.
The training included lecture courses, group discussions, panel sessions, and networking activities, fostering peer learning and knowledge exchange among participants. This collaborative approach strengthened camaraderie and encouraged school heads to share best practices and innovative strategies in school leadership.
Through expert facilitation, the program empowered participants to gain confidence, refine their leadership skills, and develop actionable strategies for driving positive change within their institutions. The 2024 School Heads INSET Program Phase 1 demonstrates the critical role of the CASS–Comm Dept in extension service, professional development, and capacity-building initiatives for educational leaders.
