The College of Arts and Social Sciences of Tarlac State University conducted a training-workshop on the basic use of Microsoft Word and Excel for the Division Federation of Supreme Student Leaders and Government (DFFSSLG) officers and advisers on February 14, 2025. Held at the Sampaguita Conference Hall of the Tarlac City Schools Division in Brgy. Binauganan, the activity transformed the venue into a hub of digital empowerment for student leaders.
Carrying the theme “Digital Leadership in Action,” the workshop featured Ms. Ma. Teresa D. Madriaga as the resource speaker. Drawing from her expertise in digital tools and education, Ms. Madriaga provided comprehensive discussions and demonstrations on the fundamental features and practical applications of Microsoft Word and Excel. She emphasized the importance of these tools in ensuring efficient documentation, accurate report preparation, and systematic data management within student organizations.
The interactive training incorporated hands-on exercises, real-world applications, and step-by-step tutorials that allowed participants to immediately apply their learning. The initiative aimed to strengthen the digital competencies of DFFSSLG officers and advisers, reinforcing their roles as proactive and capable leaders in their respective schools.
