BackBA Communication 4C and 4D came together to showcase their creativity in a culminating activity that celebrated imagination and collaboration through a special film screening. The students brought to life ten faces of Paskong Pinoy — from festive lights and heartwarming family moments to stories of sacrifice and even dark tales of cannibalism.
The event, organized by their adviser, Mr. Derich Bognot, became more than just a film showing. Each film highlighted what makes Paskong Pinoy distinct and meaningful — not merely as a tradition, but as a collection of layered stories that reflect lived experiences.
As part of the culminating activity, outstanding works were formally recognized. Among the ten films presented, Manchild, directed by Matthew Evis Cunanan of BA Communication 4C, and Paritan, directed by JM Bildan of BA Communication 4D, emerged as the Best Picture awardees — marking a high point of the celebration and recognizing excellence in student storytelling and filmmaking.
The activity proved that storytelling through film goes beyond entertainment; it is a powerful way to connect and celebrate together. By the end of the event, Paskong Pinoy was no longer just a theme — it became an experience the students will carry with them for a long time.
