BackTarlac State University (TSU) Communication student Heleina Anjela Quesada placed 3rd Overall in the Final Round of the Indonesia Tarbiyah Fantastic Moment 2024: International Storytelling Competition held on October 17, 2024, via Zoom.
Quesada, a BA Communication student, represented the TSU Department of Communication and was among the 50 participants worldwide who joined the competition. She advanced to the Top 16 finalists before ultimately securing third place with her original piece titled “Denied.”
Her performance showcased her creativity, narrative skill, and ability to captivate audiences through compelling storytelling. The competition highlighted outstanding student storytellers from various countries, emphasizing cultural diversity and the power of communication through art and narrative.
According to the TSU Communicators’ Guild and the Department of Communication, Quesada’s achievement reflects the university’s commitment to nurturing globally competitive and talented students. Her success demonstrates the value of passion, perseverance, and dedication to one’s craft.
