PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

BACHELOR OF ARTS IN PSYCHOLOGY

Three to five years after graduation, the AB Psychology graduates will be:

  1. Professionally equipped, competent, and employed in psychology-related field, including mental health services, education, research, and human resource organizations.

  2. Able to apply psychological principles and methods to address issues in diverse and multi-cultural settings, showing sensitivity and adeptness to local and global social contexts.

  3. Actively engaged in or contribute to research in psychology, or related fields, promoting a culture of inquiry and innovation that advances both theory and practice.

  4. Involved in community services, outreach and extension programs that incorporate psychological knowledge to enhance mental health, education, and social well-being, particularly in underrepresented or underserved populations.

  5. Able to demonstrate leadership skills and competencies, ethical decision- making, and a commitment to lifelong learning in psychology or related fields, adapting to changing societal and professional landscapes.
