PROGRAM OUTCOMES

BACHELOR OF ARTS IN PSYCHOLOGY

1. Demonstrate theoretical knowledge in psychology through an understanding of theories, principles, concepts and skills, adaptive to the changing demands of the society and the varied genre.

2. Critically evaluate the appropriateness of different approaches to problem-solving in the field and apply the acquired skills in dealing with challenges and demands in the changing work environment.

3. Creatively apply psychological theories, principles, and concepts as applicable in research, extension, and academic endeavors.

4. Practice ethical standards and principles in the delivery of services as a psychology practitioner.

5. Undertake further training for developing existing skills and acquiring higher level competencies either through formal graduate education or in an employment context.

BACHELOR IN HUMAN SERVICES

1. Demonstrates lifelong learning, effective communication in English and Filipino, teamwork in diverse settings, ethical responsibility, and appreciation of Filipino heritage, aligned with PQF Level 6 and RA 7722.

2. Applies social science concepts and theories to analyze social issues, conducts research using appropriate methods, and upholds professional and ethical standards.

3. Understands human systems and their interactions, identifies conditions affecting functioning, selects appropriate interventions, demonstrates professional helping skills and ethics, appreciates client values, and designs evidence-based human services activities.

4. Develops a service-oriented approach, engages in employment and community development activities, and contributes to research or knowledge generation based on institutional focus.
