On May 22, 2024, BA Communication 2A students formally handed over their developed communication materials to the Filipino-Chinese Volunteers Fire Brigade at Smith Hall Building, CASS Theater Room. The activity marked the culmination of their efforts under COMM102b (Risk, Disaster and Humanitarian Communication).

BA Communication 2-1 EVE students organized a fire safety awareness initiative titled “Commaraderie in Crisis: Empowering Pura Community with Fire Safety Awareness” on May 21,2024. The activity was conducted in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Pura, Tarlac, as part of their course in Risk, Disaster, and Humanitarian Communication.

“Fight the heat, you’re not alone.” This powerful message resonated strongly among students as they carried out a humanitarian and development-driven initiative focused on public health awareness.

Foundever Tarlac in collaboration with the Tarlac State University - Communicators’ Gulld initiates a seminar giving an overview of Business Process Outsourcing or BPO field to the Senior Communication Students of the College of Arts and Social Sciences, entitled “Foundever Tarlac Academe Roadshow”. The seminar was held in Tarlac State University’s Theater Room last Thursday, April 4, 2022.

In a proactive initiative to promote safe and respectful environments, the Central Luzon Doctor’s Hospital Educational Institution, Inc. (CLDHEI) conducted a seminar on the Anti-Sexual Harassment and Safe Spaces Act, commonly known as the “Bawal ang Bastos Law,” on March 25, 2024, at the CLDHEI Gymnasium.

Asst. Prof. Maricor Cheska Santos actively took part in the Communi-Action: Seminar-Workshop on Enhancing Social Communication Skills for Seminarians, held on March 22, 2024 at the Our Lady of Peace College Seminary.

The Department of Communication and the TSU Communicators’ Guild spearheaded the second day of the Scriptwriting Seminar and Workshop on March 12, 2024, at the Smith Hall CASS Theater Room, Tarlac State University Main Campus. The event continued to inspire creativity and passion among Communication students as they explored the art and impact of scriptwriting.

On March 5, 2024, the Project Aytalakad Ing Lahi conducted its Orientation and Social Preparation Part II at Sitio Manabayukan, Capas, Tarlac, as part of its ongoing efforts to preserve the language and culture of the Aeta Mag-Anchi community.
